Design SURFCAM Design The wire frame-modeling version of SURFCAM has a true 3D database for complete part design, dimensioning and editing. The package includes DXF, CADL and IGES-Out translators.

Data Transfer Options Surfware offers three solutions to read in CAD files:

SURFCAM's standard bi-directional translators open virtually any CAD file format. Our top-rated IGES translator, included with even the lowest priced systems, recognizes the originating CAD software, and adapts to reliably import all "flavors".
SURFCAM's direct Para solid®, ACIS and CATIA translators read in files directly from systems using those formats.
SURFCAM "One-Step" provides single-button data transfer from specific CAD systems to SURFCAM, using advanced methods to update designs as they are modified, without losing valuable tool path operations.
The designer can add complex rolling ball or variable radius fillets to connect surfaces.
